4.0: Siri and Shortcuts

Every action in Unplugged worth automating is now a shortcut you can ask for or build into an automation.

• Siri — Ask for your battery level, forecast or report, add or remove battery alerts, start or stop Live Activity tracking, and check your Apple Watch battery from the iPhone.
• Batteries on the Dashboard — A new section shows your iPhone and Apple Watch together.
• New app icons — Five new Liquid Glass icons, with the picker organized by color.
• Release history in the app — Browse every release note offline in Settings, under What's New.

3.8 and 3.9: Battery Agenda and quiet hours

Plan your day around your battery, and choose when alerts are allowed to reach you.

• Battery Agenda — Your battery forecast next to your calendar, so you can tell if you have enough charge for a meeting, a flight or a night out, with a charge reminder when you're likely to run low.
• Notification schedule — Set active hours so alerts stay quiet overnight, and limit them to only while charging or only while on battery.
• A rebuilt onboarding — It asks what you want from the app and sets things up around that.
• Steadier predictions and a better Live Activity — Fewer sudden jumps in time remaining, and a Lock Screen readout that updates more often while charging.
• Report issues from the app — Pick the issue type, add a note or screenshot, and send it straight to me.

3.7: Rebuilt from the inside

No flashy features, on purpose. I spent over a month making Unplugged more stable: fewer crashes and freezes, a rebuilt iPhone to Watch sync, better battery efficiency, and more reliable notifications and complications across the 3.7 updates.
